September 24.
When we woke up this morning on our little spit of land, the wind was still blowing pretty hard.  Luckily this system was supplying us with plenty of wind, a fair amount of cloud cover, and yet no heavy storms.  Taking advantage, we paddled out into the waterway and began our day’s paddle south.

Waking up from Moses Creek, we were ready to start paddling, although the Creek seemed to want us to stay.  The marsh grass waved in a light breeze, protected from the main channel by the spit of land we made camp on.

September 22.
Monday dawned grey and windy.  The rain was holding off, and it looked like it could clear out as the day went on.     Well, it looked that way for about two miles, until it started raining.  Not bad, but enough to keep us concerned.  Luckily it was a silent show, no percussion.  No thunder.  [...]
